The Hawaii International Film Festival presents DRIFTER as its Centerpiece film on Tuesday, October 27 at 8:15 PM at Consolidated Theatres Kahala, with a Q&A with Sung Kang. Catch the film the night before the meet and greet. Tickets are sold by HIFF.

Meet Sung Kang as he brings his new film DRIFTER to Hawaii. Film clips and a live interview and Q&A on stage, a meet and greet line, see "Lola" from the film, a curated tuner car display, food trucks, and free commemorative posters and stickers while supplies last.

The meet and greet is limited by time. There are two standing lines: a shirt line for commemorative tickets numbered 1 to 250 (every event shirt comes with a numbered ticket, handed out at pickup) and a free line open to everyone. A shirt does not guarantee a signing.

Is the event free?

Yes. Entry is free and so is the free meet and greet line. Free RSVP is coming soon: check back here.

Do I need a shirt to meet Sung Kang?

No. The free line is open to everyone, one person or one immediate family group at a time. Every shirt comes with a numbered commemorative ticket. Tickets numbered 1 to 250 use the shirt line, which goes up 10 to 1 ahead of the free line.

Does buying a shirt guarantee a signing?

No. Signing time is limited and depends on the time available that night. When time runs out, both lines close, even if people are still waiting.

Will there be event shirts?

Yes! Limited DRIFTER Hawaii event shirts are coming soon, and every shirt comes with a commemorative ticket for the shirt line. Pre-order and pickup details will be posted here when shirts go on sale.

What is the refund policy for shirts?

We will post the full sales and refund policy here when shirts go on sale.

Do I need a military ID or base pass?

No. The Navy Exchange Pearl Harbor parking lot is open to the public.

Will there be food?

Yes, food trucks will be on site. The lineup will be posted here.

Accessibility

Accessible (ADA) portable restrooms will be on site.
